WebSensys WebSensys is WiSensys on the web; a web interface to access your measurement data from any computer using your web browser.
In order to use WebSensys you need the following WiSensys base stations:
• WS-BU-gprs, base station for GPRS interface (wireless) • WS-BU-ethernet, base station for Ethernet interface (wired)
Data from all available sensors in the WiSensys family can be monitored via WebSensys. Data is transmitted via GPRS or via the Internet to a remove data base running on a web server (WebSensys).
WebSensys can be installed:
• on an remote web server • on a local web server in your own network
WebSensys can be delivered with or without a web server. In case a server is included, a completely installed and configured WebSensys server will be delivered. In case the customer’s server or an external server is used, the WebSensys package includes 4 hours off-site installation support.
Requirements for the server:
• Linux or Microsoft Windows • PHP5 • MySQL 5 • 2GB internal memory • 1GB of disk space per sensor to store data for 5 years
Estimated GPRS data usage When WS-BU-gprs is used, the following data usage must be taken into account:
• 10 sensors: 8MB per month • 20 sensors: 10MB per month
NOTE: calculation is based on: sensors take 1 measurement every 200 seconds; base station transmits every 15 minutes over GPRS. The settings are configurable.
